Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Certain TL and TH D series machines in HRC emissions regions (USA, Canada, Europe) using DEF systems are experiencing leaks of the DEF tank. Leaks occur at mold parting line, transitions from the filler neck to tank body, or the drain plug.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an Interim repair has not been defined. Replace with the same part number.
