Problem

Auto hoist function not enabled in Cat ^® ET on the machines that are listed above.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and is recommending the following interim corrective action.

(A) Diagnostic Connector in Fuse Panel

1. Connect laptop to Cat communications adaptor and connect adaptor to the diagnostic connector in the fuse panel (A) and start up ET.

2. Select "Configuration Tool" button (B).

3. Select "Hoist System" option (C).

4. Select "Hoist Assist System Enable Status" option (D).
