An Improved Engine Oil Pan is Now Used on Certain 797 and 797B Machine Engines {1302}

Description Of Change: A new oil pan design is optimized to improve strength in certain areas of high stress in the 797 A/B engine. Refer to the list of pan groups in Table 1.
Adaptable To: The new 504-1514 Oil Pan As is a replacement for the 136-3284 Oil Pan As. The new pan has two additional holes added, each will require 9S-4190 O-Ring Plug and 2M-9780 O-Ring Seal. These holes were added to accommodate future features. Refer to Table 2. The new 504-1514 Oil Pan As is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engine.
The change is effective at the factory with the engine serial numbers S/N:NPM00564-UP and ; S/N:XEE00101-UP.
