The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution detailed below to correct the issue.

Problem

There have been reports of leaks from the seals for the 423-0085 Gear Pump Gp .

Solution

When replacing the seal kit, check that the four mounting bolts for the pump are the correct length. The bolts should be 95 mm (3.7 inch) long. If, the bolts are longer than 95 mm (3.7 inch) the crush may not be correct on the seal resulting in repeat failures. If the bolts are longer than 95 mm (3.7 inch), replace with 192-7636 Bolts .
