Fjarlægja þarf loftþjöppuna úr vinnuvélinni til að hægt sé að skipta um olíu í henni. Notið eftirfarandi aðferð við að skipta um olíu í loftþjöppunni.
- Drepið á vélinni. Svissið AF.

- Notið viðeigandi lyftibúnað til að fjarlægja loftþjöppuna úr vinnuvélinni.

- Hallið loftþjöppunni til hliðar til að tappa allri olíunni af. Látið glussann renna í hentugt ílát. Tappið olíunni af.
- Setjið nýja olíu á loftþjöppuna í gegnum botntappaopið (9). Olíuhæðin á að sjást í sjónmælinum (8).
- Notið viðeigandi lyftibúnað til að setja loftþjöppuna í vinnuvélina.
- Setjið boltana í (4).
- Tengið loftleiðsluna (7).
- Tengið rafmagnstengin (6) og herðið rærnar.
- Tengið rafmagnstengin (5).
- Setjið viftufestinguna upp (2) og herðið festiboltana fyrir viftuna (3).
- Tengið rafmagnstengið fyrir viftuna (1).
