Cold Cylinder Cutout
在起动后和在寒冷天气长期怠速期间，本发动机使用将处于冷缸断缸的策略来减少白烟。
冷起动和/或长时间低怠速运转时，发动机电子控制模块 (ECM) 一次关闭一个单体喷油器，以确定是否通过监控喷射到气缸内的燃油量变化将各气缸点火。 如果某一缸发火，ECM 就会接通该缸的喷油器。 如果某一缸不发火，该缸的喷油器就会被断开。 冷缸断缸具有以下优点：减少白烟、改善发动机起动、减少使用乙醚喷射和缩短暖机时间。
注: 冷缸断缸操作期间，发动机可能给人感觉好象是缺火。 这是正常的。 没有必要采取如何纠正措施。
