变速箱控制安全阀是一个电子主安全阀 (EMRV)。
该 EMRV 控制变速箱液压系统中的最大压力。 EMRV 不具备机械调整。 当选择档位时，变速箱 ECM 向 EMRV 发送信号。 不同的档位选择可能具有不同的安全设置。
EMRV 控制选择档位时的最大压力。 每个单独离合器电磁阀控制至该离合器的压力。 一次档位选择可能接合多个离合器，且每个离合器具有不同的压力。
变速箱将来自油道 (P) 的油泵送到安全阀。 当油压达到安全压力时，安全阀使油流过油道 (C) 进入变矩器。
