Description of Change: An improved lubrication lines group is now used on the machines listed above. The improved lines group has a new hose assembly with new clamping location. The new design will provide extended service life.

New 456-9132 Hose As (1) replaces the former 307-0718 Hose As in the 282-8866 Lubrication Lines Gp
New 456-9132 Hose As is adaptable to machines R9J1-1353 and B9J1-1450 and effective in production with machines R9J1354-UP and B9J1451-UP.
Use the following rework procedure in order to update 282-8866 Lubrication Lines Gp on the above adaptable machines:

- Remove 307-0718 Hose As (A), 5P-9085 Clip (B), 8T-4121 Hard Washer (C), and 8T-4191 Bolt (D) from the lubrication lines group as shown in Illustration 2. Save 5P-9085 Clip (B), 8T-4121 Hard Washer (C) and discard all other parts.

- Remove former boss (3) .

- Remove the paint surface all around the former boss for welding.
- Grind and flush all the former welded surfaces all around the former boss. Refer to Illustration 3.
- Locate and weld boss (3) as per the dimension shown in Illustration 4. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1841, "General Welding Procedures" for the proper cleaning and welding procedures.

- To protect from corrosion paint boss (3) and surrounding area after welding.
- Install hose assembly (1) using 5P-9085 Clip (B) and 8T-4121 Hard Washer (C) that were saved in Step 1, and new bolt (2). Refer to Illustration 5.

- For proper routing rotate elbow on top of the articulation pin as shown in Illustration 5.
Note: Ensure that no contact is present between the hose assembly and top plate of the rear frame.
