New Engine Software Is Used on Certain 14M and 16M Motor Graders {1920}
- Motor Grader:
- 14M (S/N: B9J1-UP; R9J1-UP)
- 16M (S/N: B9H1-UP; R9H1-UP)
Description of Change: The new engine software has the following improvements:
- Support added for "Working Low Idle" feature that helps in reducing the torsional vibrations and provide drive line protection
- "Working Low Idle" feature is configured to "Disabled" as a default
- When enabled, this feature increases the low idle to 1000 rpm in all the gears other than neutral gear. In neutral, the engine speed will default to standard low idle which is 800 rpm
- "User Defined Shutdown Event" level is changed from "Level 3" to "Level 1"
Adaptable To: The new engine software replaces the former software and is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above. Refer to Table 2 for a list of the new and former software part numbers.
