IQAN Error Messages and Warnings

Usage:

586C SL5
The IQAN Monitoring and Control System has many internal warnings and error messages. These messages give the most possible information regarding the status of the system and the machine.

IQAN module

(1) Yellow or Red Status LED

(2) Green Power LED

There are two indicators on the IQAN XA2 module. The green power LED (2) indicates that the module has power. The yellow or red status LED (1) indicates the status of the module. If the status LED is flashing yellow, the module detects normal status. If the status LED is flashing red, the module detects an error.

When an error is detected by one of the modules, an error message automatically appears on the IQAN Master Display (MD3).

ReferenceFor more information on the diagnostic functions of the IQAN Monitoring and Control System and on the specific descriptions of error messages, refer to the Service Manual module for Troubleshooting, "Diagnostic Capabilities".

Status Values

Status is used to indicate warnings, errors, or other info. The status is an integer in the range 0 - 255, which is divided into four ranges. Some status changes are shown as on-screen messages or LED codes on the master, and some are even logged in the system log.

Table 13
Status Values
Integer     Status
0-63     Information
64-127     OK
128-191     Warning
192-255     Error

The "Msg" column states whether a system message dialog box is displayed or not. The "Log " column states whether a record is created in the system log or not.
