PROBLEM
Software is used to control the air delivery and diesel emissions fluid dosing within the Retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System. Under some operating conditions, the software can cause the controller to over dose on certain Retrofit SCR Systems. A (32 bit) counter is used for timing tasks within the software. When an SCR system is powered continuously, the counter will roll over every 40 days. This roll over function is unreliable and may occasionally result in over dosing. |
