Special Instruction, SEHS9340, "Jacket Water Heater Installation Procedures" is now available. The jacket water heater keeps the engine water temperature warm when the ambient air temperature is below 13°C (55°F) for easier and smoother starter.
The jacket water heater can be installed on either side or both sides of the engine. However, it is recommended that a jacket water heater group be installed on both sides to ensure even heating of the engine coolant.
