7211 & 7221 MARINE TRANSMISSIONS Caterpillar

1. Remove nuts (2) and the lockwashers.

2. Remove cover (1) and the O-ring seal.

3. Remove spring (5), screen (3) and magnetic tube assembly (4).

Install Magnetic Strainer

1. Check all parts for damage. If damaged, use new parts for replacement.

2. Make sure all parts are clean and free of dirt and foreign material.

3. Put magnetic tube assembly (2) and screen (1) in position.

4. Put spring (5) in position.

5. Install O-ring seal (4) in cover (3).

6. Put cover (3) in position and install the four lockwashers and nuts that hold it in position.
