Oil Pump

Usage:

Remove Oil Pump

1. Remove oil lines (1) and (2).

2. Remove two bolts (3) and the washers. Remove oil pump (4) and the gasket.

Install Oil Pump

1. Put gasket (2) and oil pump (1) in position. Install the two washers and the bolts that hold it in position.

2. Install oil lines (3) and (4) to the oil pump.

Disassemble Oil Pump

1. Remove eight bolts (1) and the washers. Remove body assembly (2) from cover assembly (3).

2. Remove plate (4) and seal (5) from body assembly (2).

3. Remove two seals (6) from the body.

4. Remove two bearings (7) from the body, if necessary.

5. Remove retainer (8) and the seal from the body.

6. Remove idler shaft assembly (9) from cover assembly (3).

7. Remove drive shaft assembly (10) from the cover.

8. Remove two bearings (11) from the cover, if necessary.

Oil Pump

Assemble Oil Pump

1. Check all parts for damage. If damaged, use new parts for replacement.

2. Make sure all parts are clean and free of dirt and foreign material.

3. Put a small amount of clean hydraulic oil on the parts to be assembled.

4. Install the two bearings with tooling (A), if removed.

5. Install drive shaft assembly (1) in the cover.

6. Install idler shaft assembly (2) in the cover.

7. Install the seal in the body assembly with tooling (A). The lip of the lip type seal must be away from the gears of the shaft assemblies. Install the retainer.

8. Install the two bearings in the body with tooling (A), if removed.

9. Install seal (4) first, then install seal (3) in the body.

10. Install seal (6) and plate (5) in the body.

11. Put body assembly (7) in position on cover assembly (8). Install the eight bolts and washers that hold it in position.
