Control Valve (Intermittent Saw) - If Equipped

Usage:

1390 B3F

Operator controls

The intermittent saw button is used in order to adjust the flow rate for the saw. The intermittent saw button sends a current output to the control valve that is located on the base of the boom. The single current output will drive two solenoids simultaneously. The control valve section contains signal limiter valves in order to set the pressure for a specific saw. The signal limiter valves are adjustable for different saws.

Note: Refer to the IQAN display or the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the control pattern of the intermittent saw buttons for your machine.

Manual saw return button may not be used in all applications. Manual saw return button sends a signal to the control valve which shifts one of the valve sections in the opposite direction. Manual saw return button is also a current output that can adjust the flow to the functions of the saw. However, the intermittent saw valve uses the main pump flow.

Main relief valve (6) has been completely closed. The main relief and the load sensing is controlled by the travel control valve.

ReferenceSee Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Main, Load Sensing) - Test and Adjust" for more information.

If air enters the pilot hydraulic system the valve spools may not move smoothly. The air can be removed from the system through air purge valve (4) when the engine is running.
