Winch Frame - Remove

Start By:
- Remove the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install".
- Remove the boom winch. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Winch (Boom) - Remove".
- Remove the hook winch. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hook Winch - Remove".
- Cut cable straps (1). Disconnect harness assembly (2).

- Remove four bolts (8) (not shown) and position manifold (7) out of the way.

- Cut cable strap (11).

Illustration 6 g01593231 - Attach Tooling (B) to winch frame (12) and to counterweight cylinder (13) in order to secure counterweight cylinder (13) to winch frame (12).

Illustration 7 g01593246 - Remove bolts (14). Repeat this step for the opposite side of winch frame (12).

Illustration 8 g01593286 - Remove bolts (15) and bar (16). Remove pin (17). Repeat this step for the other bolts (15), bar (16), and pin (17). Use Tooling (A) (not shown) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove winch frame (12).
