The new 316-4022 Modular Handle Gp is available for the replacement of the former 187-9975 Modular Handle Gp in the joystick control gp on the machines that are listed. The push switch in the new handle control is improved.

The push switch in the former modular handle gp could fail from an open circuit. The open circuit would prevent the activation of the hydraulic actuators for the attachments. Normal effort would not activate the push switch. Excessive effort was need in order to activate the push switch in the former modular handle gp. The length of the stroke for the activation of the push switch was too long. The new modular handle gp prevents the need for the excessive effort.

Install a new 316-4022 Modular Handle Gp if the former modular handle gp fails to activate the hydraulic actuators for the attachments. Use the information that follows for the replacement procedure.
