- Use Tooling (B) to install the lip seals.

NOTICE If the water temperature regulator is installed incorrectly, it will cause the engine to overheat.

- Install lip seals (9). Install water temperature regulators (10). Install gasket (8).

Illustration 4 g06146210 - Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to water temperature regulator housing (5). The weight of water temperature regulator housing (5) is approximately
24 kg (53 lb) . - Position water temperature regulator housing (5) on the engine and install bolts (6).
- Install elbow (4) and bolts (3), if necessary.
- Connect tube assembly (1) to elbow (4).
- Install clamp assembly (2) and bolts (7).
- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
