Wheel Lean Arm and Axle Bushings - Remove

Usage:

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the wheel drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Drive - Remove".

    Right Side of Machine

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to wheel lean bar (2). The weight of wheel lean bar (2) is approximately 55 kg (122 lb).

  2. Place suitable blocking under wheel lean cylinder (1).

  3. Remove bolt (4) and retainer (3). Repeat this process for the opposite side of pin (5).

  4. Move pin (5) toward the rear of the machine in order to position wheel lean bar (2) out of the way.

    Note: Do not remove pin (5). Pin (5) is used to support wheel lean cylinder (1) at this point in the removal process.

  5. Remove the suitable lifting device from wheel lean bar (2).

  6. Attach a suitable lifting device to wheel lean arm (6).

  7. Remove pin (5).

  8. Remove bolt (7) and remove pin (8).

  9. Remove wheel lean arm (6). The weight of wheel lean arm (6) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  10. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove bearing (9) from wheel lean arm (6). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

  11. Remove lip seal (11) from axle (10).

  12. Remove bearing (12). Repeat this process for the opposite side of axle (10).
