Description of Change: An improved damper is used in the suspension seat on the listed machines. The improved damper has a variable damper arrangement that is better to the arrangement in the former damper.
Adaptable To: A 279-2303 Damper in 279-2302 Seat Suspension is an improvement over the former 242-8774 Damper in 231-9811 Seat Suspension .
Note: The 279-2302 Seat Suspension is part of 279-2301 Suspension Seat and the 231-9811 Seat Suspension is part of 230-3393 Suspension Seat that are identified in the Service Magazine article that is referenced.The new 279-2301 Suspension Seat with the improved 279-2303 Damper is effective on 725 (S/N: B1L641-UP), 730 (S/N: B1M563-UP), 730 EJECTOR (S/N: B1W191-UP), 735 (S/N: B1N397-UP), 740 (S/N: B1P978-UP) and 740 EJECTOR (S/N: B1R213-UP).
The new 279-2301 Suspension Seat is a direct replacement for the former 230-3393 Suspension Seat on all earlier machines.
Note: The improved 279-2303 Damper cannot directly replace the former 242-8774 Damper.
