Installation Procedure

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the rotor drive differential (13) . The weight of the rotor drive differential is approximately 204 kg (450 lb). Place rotor drive differential (13) on a stand.

2. Attach a suitable lifting device to the chain case hub. Install washer (15) and chain case hub (13) to rotor drive differential (13) .

3. Cut a 45 degree bevel angle on rubber plug (12) .

4. Install rubber plug (12) , washer (11) , and nut (10) . Torque nut (10) to 136 N·m (100 lb ft), then back nut (10) off half of a flat.

5. Cut a 45 degree bevel angle on rubber plug (9) .

Note: No more than two shims can be installed on either side of lockwasher (7)

6. Install one shim (8) , rubber plug (9) , and lockwasher (7) . Bend a minimum of two tabs on lockwasher (7) onto inner nut (10) .

7. Install two shims (6) and nut (5) . Torque nut (5) to 136 N·m (100 lb ft).

   Note: The shimming procedure will be completed during the installation of the rotor drive axle assemblies.

8. Install chain drive case (4) and bolts (3) .

9. Install the other chain drive case.

10. Attach a suitable lifting device to spacer tube (1) . The weight of the spacer tube is approximately 181 kg (400 lb). Install spacer tube (1) and bolts (2) .

End By:

1. Install the mixing chamber. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Mixing Chamber - Install".
2. Install the rotor stub shaft gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotor Stub Shaft Gp - Install".
3. Install the rotor drive axle assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotor Drive Axle Shaft - Install".
