The generator circuit breaker receives power when the main power relay is energized. The 150-OR wire distributes power from the generator circuit breaker to contact "2" of the generator control switch.
When the generator control switch is in the ON position, power is transferred to the generator control solenoid. When the generator control solenoid is energized, hydraulic oil is directed to the generator motor. The generator motor turns the generator.
The generator provides power to the circuit breakers in the circuit breaker panel. The 35 amp main circuit breaker distributes power to the circuit breakers in the auxiliary power panel. Each of the 20 amp GFI circuit breakers distributes power to a screed heating element, if the machine is equipped with electric screed heaters.
Each 240 volt outlet on the generator control panel is protected by a 20 amp circuit breaker. The 120 volt outlets on the generator control panel are protected in pairs by 15 amp circuit breakers.
