Description of Change: A new planet gear is used in the low forward gear train of the large off-highway truck transmission. The geometry of the gear tooth is improved on the new planet gear. This will reduce the wear of the planet gear and of the sun gear.

Adaptable To: The new 186-4893 Planet Gear is a direct replacement for the former 9G-7465 Gear. Refer to Table 1 for the effectivity.
