Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with the bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury. |

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This will help to prevent fluid loss and this will help to keep contaminants from entering the system.
- Remove screws (1) that secure cover (2) .

- Lift up cover (2) . Disconnect harness assembly (3) . Remove cover (2) .
- Remove rubber mat (4) and the insulation from the cab floor.
- Remove bolts (6) , the washers, and cover (5) .

- Remove cover (7) .

- Remove control knobs (8) , cover assembly (9) , and air filter (9A) (not shown).

- Remove the bolts, the washers, and screws (11) . Remove cover (10) .

- Disconnect wires (13) and harness assembly (12) .

- Remove bolts (14) , nuts (16) , and the washers. Remove fan motor (15) .
