A Stop Is now Used on the Rear Wall of the Cab for Added Protection {7301, 7312, 7324}

Description of Change: A stop is now used on the rear wall of the cab. The stop is designed to keep the seat from making contact with the panel assembly that is located on the rear wall of the cab. This will improve the durability of the panel assembly.

Adaptable To: The effectivity for this change is listed in Table 1. The parts that are needed for rework are listed in Table 2.

    This view shows an illustration of the finished rework from the rear of the cab looking forward to the front of the cab. The instructions for cutting slots and drilling holes will follow.

    (4) 8T-4133 Nut out of the view and under the rail

    (5) Panel assembly

    (B) 36 mm (1.4 inch)

  1. Use the dimensions in Illustration 2 to cut two slots (E) into rear panel (5) .

    (H) 49.7 mm (2.0 inch)

    (J) 15.9 mm (0.6 inch)

    (K) 13.5 mm (0.5 inch) diameter value for the holes

  1. Drill two 13.5 mm (0.5 inch) holes (K) on the top ledge of the rear wall (6). The location for the holes is shown in Illustration 4.

  1. Secure the stop (1) to the rear wall (6). Use illustration 1 as a reference to finish the assembly of the stop.
