Description of Change: New turbochargers are released for these engines. The interim turbocharger and the new turbocharger have an improved design of the compressor housing. The design of the new turbocharger will reduce stress on the blades of the compressor. The new turbocharger has a forged, machined aluminum compressor wheel in order to improve strength.
Adaptable To: The new turbochargers are direct replacements for the original turbochargers and the interim turbochargers. Consult Table 1 for the appropriate turbocharger.
