Personal injury or death can result from falling material. Remove any overhang and watch for sliding material. |

- Remove any overhang before you start at the base. Watch for sliding material.
- Start at the base of the bank in order to load the bucket and follow the face upward.
- In extremely dense material, start at the top of the bank and work downward.
- Raise the bucket slightly and move away from the bank.
