The air system provides approximately 830 kPa (120.0 psi) of air pressure to electric solenoid air valve (1). The Vital Information Management System (VIMS) energizes the electric solenoid air valve.
The system air pressure flows through air signal line (5). Then, the system air pressure flows to air regulator (4). The air regulator is not adjustable. Air regulator (4) limits the air pressure to pump assembly (2). This regulated air pressure operates pump assembly (2) and vent valve assembly (3). The air regulator limits the air pressure to 500 ± 20 kPa (73.0 ± 3.0 psi).
