Bucket Positioner

Usage:

914G 7ZM

------ WARNING! ------

Use caution to avoid possible personal injury when adjusting the bucket positioner.

Stop the engine and lower all equipment to relieve the hydraulic pressure.

Engage the parking brake and block the tires to prevent sudden movement of the machine.

Keep unauthorized personnel off the machine.

  1. Start the engine. Lower the bucket to the ground.

  1. Position the bucket at the desired angle to the ground. Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position and remove the engine start switch key. Move the bucket tilt lever to the TILT BACK detent position.

  1. Loosen the four bolts (1) that clamp the tube assembly (2) of the switch. Move the tube assembly down the cylinder in order to increase the digging angle. Move the tube assembly up the cylinder in order to decrease the digging angle.

  1. To test the adjustment, start the engine. Raise the bucket. Move the bucket tilt lever to the TILT BACK detent position.

  1. When the bucket reaches the preset digging angle, the bucket tilt lever should return to the HOLD position.
