Check Valve (Primary Air Tank) - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Purge the air pressure from the air tanks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tanks (Brake) - Purge".

Personal injury can result from removing hoses or fittings in a pressure system. Failure to relieve pressure can cause personal injury. Do not remove or disconnect hoses or fittings until all pressure in the air system has been relieved. |
- Disconnect hose assembly (1) from check valve (2).
- Remove check valve (2) from the air tank.

- Verify that all of the components of the check valve are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
- Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

- Connect hose assembly (1) to check valve (2).
End By:
- Close the drain valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tanks (Brake) - Purge".
