Relief pressure ... 24150 ± 350 kPa (3500 ± 50 psi)

(2) Torque on the bolt ... 1600 ± 200 N·m (1180 ± 150 lb ft)

Note: Replace a bolt that has been loosened or removed with a new bolt. Install the bolt with threads that are clean and free of lubricant.

(3) Diameter of the piston at the two lands on each side of the seal ... 113.8 ± 0.03 mm (4.4803 ± 0.0012 inch)

(4) Diameter of the rod ... 54.95 ± 0.038 mm (2.163 ± 0.001 inch)

(5) Bore of the cylinder ... 114.3 ± 0.08 mm (4.500 ± 0.003 inch)

(6) Bore in the head ... 55.33 ± 0.03 mm (2.178 ± 0.001 inch)

(7) Lubricate the sealing lip of each seal with clean hydraulic oil.

(8) Apply 7M-7456 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove prior to assembly.

(9) Torque for the head ... 600 ± 130 N·m (440 ± 100 lb ft)

Note: Lubricate the threads on the head with clean grease.

(10) 4M-5912 Spring

Test force ... 20 N (4.5 lb)

Test length ... 83.8 mm (3.3 inch)

Free length after test ... 92.5 mm (3.7 inch)

Outside diameter ... 9.52 mm (0.38 inch)
