Sudden movement of the machine or the three-point hitch while connecting or disconnecting the implement, the implement hydraulics, or the implement electrical components can cause personal injury or death. Always lower the implement to the ground, set the parking brake and stop the engine on the tractor before entering the three-point hitch linkage area to connect the equipment. |
- Select a level area that is suitable for detaching the implement.
- Set the parking brake on the tractor and stop the engine.
- Unlock wing transport lock valve (1) .
- Fold the wings for storage. For long periods of storage, store the implement with the wings in the lowered position.
Reference: See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Implement Adjustments" for additional information in order to fold the wings.
- Make sure that wing transport lock valve (1) and the wheel transport lock valve (2) is in the LOCKED position, as shown.

- Relieve any pressure in the hydraulic circuits for the implement.
Note: Generally, the FLOAT position for the hydraulic control can be used to relieve pressure in the hydraulic circuit.
Reference: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the tractor for additional information on the hydraulic circuits.
- Set the parking brake on the tractor and stop the engine.
- Disconnect hydraulic hoses (7) from the tractor and place the hydraulic hoses in the storage positions.

- Disconnect electrical connector (8) from the tractor and place the electrical connector in the storage location.
- Remove the retaining pin and rotate jack stand (3) from the storage position.

- If necessary, install a jack stand on the rear of the implement.
Unit May be Tail-Heavy The tongue may raise rapidly when unhitching from the tractor if the rear jack is not set in support position. A rear jack stand is required when heavy attachments are added to the back frame beam. Failure to heed this warning may result in serious bodily injury or death. |

- Remove pin (6) .
- Remove safety chain (5) .
- Move the tractor away from the implement.
- Remove pin (9) from the storage location, as shown. The pin is stored in the hole above the storage location for the hydraulic hoses.
