(1) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the cap.
- Diameter of the bearings before installation ... 60.315 ± 0.020 mm (2.3746 ± 0.0008 inch)
(2) Diameter of the cylinder ... 120.65 ± 0.08 mm (4.750 ± 0.003 inch)
(3) Diameter of the rod ... 64.950 ± 0.038 mm (2.5571 ± 0.0015 inch)
(4) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the fluid that is being sealed.
(5) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove.
(6) Before assembly, lubricate the threads with clean grease.
- Diameter of the lands ... 65.28 ± 0.03 mm (2.570 ± 0.001 inch)
- Torque for the head ... 600.0 ± 130.0 N·m (440.00 ± 95.00 lb ft)
(7) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the rod.
- Diameter of the bearing before installation ... 60.315 ± 0.020 mm (2.3746 ± 0.0008 inch)
(8) Lubricate the nut with clean grease.
- Torque for the nut ... 2700.0 ± 270.0 N·m (2000.00 ± 200.00 lb ft)
