- Integrated Toolcarrier:
- IT14G (S/N: 1WN1-UP)
- Wheel Loader:
- 914G (S/N: 9WM1-UP)
Machines now have a new style of creeper speed control. The mode switch was relocated before this change. See Illustration 1 and 2.
The 914G (S/N: 9WM1-1989) and IT14G (S/N: 1WN1-1491) had either the former creeper speed control or the mode switch.
The 914G (S/N: 9WM1990-UP) and IT14G (S/N: 1WN1491-UP) have the mode switch. If equipped, these machines have the new creeper speed control.

Insert the following information into the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Creeper Speed Control
Two types of Creeper Speed Controls are installed on the machine.
Type 1 on the 914G (S/N: 9WM1-1989) and IT14G (S/N: 1WN1-1491)

Creeper Speed Control |
Creeper Speed - The control for the creeper speed operates similarly as the inching operation of the service brake. However, the control for the creeper speed allows the operator to infinitely vary the ground speed of the machine. The ground speed can be varied between 0 to 7 km/h (0 to 4 mph) in the slow mode.
Move the lever forward into the detent in order to increase for the fast mode. Move the lever backward to the point that is just out of the detent. This will put the machine in the maximum slow speed.
Note: In order to achieve maximum rimpull, the control for the creeper speed must be in the maximum slow speed or the control must be in the detent for the fast speed.
You can vary the speed between 0 to 7 km/h (0 to 4 mph) by moving the lever farther backward from the maximum slow speed.
Less rimpull is available when the ground speed is reduced with the lever for the creeper speed.

Switch (2) for Creeper Control |
Select the mode with the switch for the creeper control.
In the slow mode, the creeper speed control allows the operator to infinitely vary ground speed of the machine. The ground speed can be varied from 0 to 9 km/h (0 to 5.6 mph) in the slow mode.
In the fast mode, the creeper speed control allows the operator to infinitely vary ground speed of the machine. The ground speed can be varied from 0 to 35 km/h (0 to 21.5 mph) for the 914G. The ground speed can be varied from 0 to 32 km/h (0 to 19.8 mph) for the IT14G.
