Description of Change: The piston pump (vibratory) and the piston pump (propel) have been replaced in production by new piston pumps. The new pumps have the same performance characteristics as the old pumps. The new pumps have an SAE "C" mounting flange at the connecting point between the two pumps. The old pumps had SAE "B" mounting flanges.
Adaptable To: In production, the new 164-3168 Piston Pump (Vibratory) is the replacement for 119-3135 Piston Pump (Vibratory). In production, the new 164-2851 Piston Pump (Propel) is the replacement for 140-9471 Piston Pump (Propel). The new pumps are effective with machines with the following serial numbers: (S/N: 5HN683-687, 690) and (S/N: 3BR556).
The machines with serial numbers prior to the effectivity of the change will continue to be serviced by the old part number.
