Hood - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the muffler and remove the exhaust. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler and Exhaust - Remove and Install".
- Remove nuts (2) and guard (1) .

- Remove bolt (3) and precleaner (4) .

- Remove engine panel (5) from each side of the hood.
- Unhook rubber latch (6) from each side of the hood.

- Remove bolts (7) .
- Loosen hose clamp (8) .

- Use two people to remove the hood from the machine. The weight of the hood is 25 kg (55 lb).
Installation Procedure
- Use two people to Put the hood in position on the machine. The weight of the hood is 25 kg (55 lb).
- Tighten hose clamp (8) .

- Install bolts (7) .

- Hook rubber latches (6) onto both sides of the hood.
- Install engine panels (5) onto both sides of the hood.

- Install precleaner (4) and bolt (3) .
- Install guard (2) and bolts (1) .
