Display Module - Replace

Usage:

TH82 3JN
The display module cannot be repaired. If the display module is faulty, a new part must be installed.

Use the procedure that follows to install a new display module.

    This connector connects the display module to the sensor. The connector must be viewed from below the machine.

    These connectors connect the display module to the power source and to the switch.

  1. Separate the three connectors that connect the display module to the power source, to the sensor and to the switch.

  1. Remove the harness for the display module from the two cable clips that secure the harness.

  1. Remove the two screws that secure the mounting plate for the display module. Separate the display module from the mounting plate by removing two screws.

    These switches are for setting the display module.

  1. Look at the six switches that are located on the back of the new display module.

    These switches are for setting the display module.

    (1) This switch is for selecting operation on a TH62 machine.

    (2) This switch is for selecting operation on a TH82 machine.

    (3) This switch is for selecting operation on a TH63 machine.

    (4) This switch is for selecting operation on a TH83 machine.

    (5) This switch is for selecting operation on a TH103 machine.

    (6) This switch is used to derate the system.

    The display module is set for operation on a TH62 machine.

    The display module is set for operation on a TH62 machine and the system has been derated.

  1. Set the switches according to the model and set the switches according to the country. One of the switches is used to derate the system when the machine is operating in certain countries.

    Note: The switches are set when the switches are up.

    • Switch (1) is for the TH62 model.

    • Switch (2) is for the TH82 model.

    • Switch (3) is for the TH63 model.

    • Switch (4) is for the TH83 model.

    • Switch (5) is for the TH103 model.

    • Switch (6) is used to derate the system.

    Only one switch (1), (2), (3), (4) or (5) must be set unless the machine is in certain countries. The system must be derated in order to comply with the law in certain countries.

    Two switches must be set if the system must be derated.

    • Set switch (1) and set switch (6) for the TH62

    • Set switch (2) and set switch (6) for the TH82

    • Set switch (3) and set switch (6) for the TH63

    • Set switch (4) and set switch (6) for the TH83

    • Set switch (5) and set switch (6) for the TH103

  1. Mount the display module in position.

  1. Secure the harness with the cable clips.

  1. Connect the display module to the power source, to the sensor and to the switch.

  1. Calibrate the system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Calibrate" for the procedure.
