Transmission Oil Filter - Disassemble
Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the transmission oil filter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Oil Filter - Remove" for the correct procedure.
- Remove switch (1), O-ring seal (2), plunger (3), and spring (4) from the housing assembly.

- Remove plug (5) from the housing assembly.

- Remove three remaining bolts (6) that hold cover assembly (7) to the housing assembly.

- Remove nut (8), the retainer, O-ring seal (9), element (10), stud (11), and two O-ring seals (12) from the cover assembly.
