ROPS arrangements are now available for the models that are listed above. Each group that is listed in the table contains the ROPS assembly, the appropriate mounting hardware, and a warning plate for the ROPS assembly. Refer to the table for the appropriate part numbers.

Refer to illustration 1 and the table for the location of the parts during installation. Make sure that washers (6) and bolts (7) are installed in the proper location.
583R Pipelayer
The ROPS mounting pads on 583R Pipelayers (PIN: 2XS1-467) did not come with the mounting holes that are needed to attach the ROPS. Refer to the following procedure to drill the mounting holes in the proper locations.
- Squarely place the ROPS structure on the existing mounting pads.

- Mark the center of each hole in the ROPS structure. Use these marks for reference.
- Remove the ROPS and drill a hole with a diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch) at each of the locations on the mounting pads. Use the dimensions in illustration 3 for reference.

- Tap each hole with 1 1/8-7 threads.
- Replace the ROPS and attach the ROPS to the mounting pads with the hardware that is provided.
