( 1 ) When you are operating below -20°C (-4°F), refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU5898, "Cold Weather Recommendations". This is available from your Caterpillar dealer.
( 2 ) These special oils that contain synthetic base stocks do not contain polymer viscosity index improvers. The high viscosity index of the "synthetic" oils provide natural multiviscosity properties.
( 3 ) Operation at ambient temperatures above +32 °C (+90 °F) should be limited to light-duty cycles and short periods of time.
( 4 ) If this oil is used, 1U-9891 Hydraulic Oil Additive must be added to the oil in order to keep the brakes from squeaking.
