Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

  1. Install the adjusting screw, the jam nut, the seal ring, and nut (9). Remove the O-ring seal and plug (8), and install seal rings and two plugs (7) .

  1. The screw (6) must be in the horizontal position from left to right. Inspect the three O-rings (5) for wear. If necessary, replace the O-rings.

  1. Install compensator valve (2) in implement pump (4) and install four capscrews (3). Tighten capscrews (3) to a torque of 12 N·m (9.0 lb ft). Connect hose assembly (1) to compensator valve (2) .

    Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7204, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the proper filling procedure and the proper levels for the hydraulic system and the cooling system.

End By: Install the right side sheet metal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Covers - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
