Drive Shaft Universal Joints (Front and Rear) - Lubricate
Wipe off all of the fittings before any lubricant is applied. There is a total of five fittings.
- Lower the bottom guard.
Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Bottom Guard Lowering" for the correct procedure.

- Apply 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease through fittings (1) and (2) for the two front U-joints.

- Raise the bottom guard.
- Open the access door on the rear of the machine.

- Apply 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease through fitting (3) for the rear U-joint.

- Remove the cover on the rear of the machine.
Note: The 574 Forwarder has an additional U-joint at the rear of the drive train. The following steps are only for the 574 Forwarder.
