D250E Series II and D300E Series II Articulated Trucks Power Train Caterpillar

Installation Procedure

1. Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Position retarder solenoid control valve (6) to the machine frame. Install three bolts (7) that secure retarder solenoid control valve (6) to the machine frame.

3. Install the O-ring seals to hydraulic hoses (8) , (10) and (11) . Connect hydraulic hoses (8) , (10) and (11) to retarder solenoid control valve (6) . Connect four electrical connectors (9) .

4. Install retarder accumulator (5) to retarder solenoid control valve (6) .

5. Position step (3) to the machine. Install three bolts (4) in order to secure step (3) to the machine.

6. Position cover (1) to step (3) . Install bolts (2) that secure cover (1) to step (3) .
