Installation Procedure

- Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Use Tooling (A) , an appropriate lifting device and a hoist and position final drive assembly (1) onto the wheel assembly.

- Install twelve bolts (2) and the washers onto final drive assembly (1) . Tighten the twelve bolts to a torque of 270 ± 25 N·m (200 ± 19 lb ft). Remove Tooling (A) from the final drive assembly.
