Removal Procedure

1. Remove top (1) of the transmission selector lever.

2. Remove eight screws (2) .

3. Remove rear panel assembly (3) .

4. Lift guard (5) of the switch.

5. Remove one locknut (6) from the toggle switch.

6. Reposition front panel assembly (4) in order to access the connections that are located on the underside of the front panel.

7. Remove two screws (7) in order to disconnect the two electrical connections.

   Note: Mark the electrical connections for installation purposes.

8. Remove toggle switch (8) .

1. Install toggle switch (8) .

2. Install two screws (7) in order to connect the two electrical connections.

3. Position front panel assembly (4) .

4. Install one locknut (6) on the toggle switch.

5. Lower switch guard (5) .

6. Install rear panel assembly (3) .

7. Install eight screws (2) .

   Note: When screws (2) are installed, tighten the screws to a torque of 9 ± 3 N·m (6.6 ± 2.2 lb ft).
