Tighten the glow plug to the following torque. ... 17 N·m (13 lb ft)

Current through the glow plug for the 3003 and 3013 engines ... 85 amperes max

Current through the glow plug for the 3014 and 3024 engines ... 110 amperes max

Maximum voltage drop for all engines ... 0.5 volts

Maximum resistance for 3003 engines ... 0.0185 ohm

Maximum resistance for 3013, 3014, and 3024 engines ... 0.0139 ohm

Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Glow Plugs - Test" for information on testing the glow plugs.
