- Use the steps and the handholds. When you are dismounting, use both hands and face the machine.
- Inspect the engine compartment for debris. Clean out any debris and paper in order to avoid a fire.

- In order to reduce the fire hazard, remove all flammable debris from the front bottom guard through the access doors.
- When the machine is being parked for an extended period of time turn the disconnect key to OFF and remove the key. An extended period of time would be overnight or longer.
- Install all vandalism protection locks and covers.
