    (1) Nut. (2) Cotter. (3) Tie rod locknut. (4) Adjustment rod. (5) Tie rod joint. (6) Cylinder rod. (A) Distance from the cylinder rod end to the face of the cylinder head. (B) Distance behind the axle from the axle centerline to the hub face. (C) Distance in front of the axle from the axle centerline to the hub face.

  1. Raise the rear wheels slightly off the ground.

  1. Install sufficient blocking under the frame and lower the machine to the blocking.

  1. Tighten the tie rod joint (5) to 300 N·m (221 lb ft).

  1. Remove the cotter (2) .

  1. Tighten the nut (1) to 150 N·m (111 lb ft). Tighten the nut (1) to the nearest locking hole.

  1. Install the cotter (2) .

  1. Position the cylinder rod (6) until dimension (A) is equal on both sides.

  1. Loosen the tie rod locknut (3) .

  1. Adjust the adjustment rod (4) until dimension (B) is equal to dimension (C). The tolerance for dimension (B) and dimension (C) is 0 mm (0.0 inch).

  1. Tighten the tie rod locknut (3) to 83 N·m (61 lb ft).

  1. Perform steps 3 through 10 for the opposite side.

  1. Remove the blocking and lower the machine to the ground.
