General Fault Diagnosis

Problems should be corrected promptly in order to maintain an effective, efficient machine. Only qualified personnel should repair the machine.

Use this information as a reference to help you locate problems. However, this listing does not provide all possible problems, all possible causes, or all possible solutions. Service personnel must find the problem and the source of the problem. Then, the service personnel must make all required repairs.

This list only indicates the possible location of the problem.

Fault Codes

Illustration 1g00336358

Fault codes indicate that there has been a malfunction in the machine's electrical system. When a fault occurs, fault code indicator (1) is displayed in the Machine Performance Monitor. In order to view fault codes, see Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Programming Electronic Monitoring Center" .

Fault code (2) will be displayed. The fault code consists of an "F" and of a number. The fault code identifies the malfunctioning circuit. Also, the fault code identifies the type of malfunction. See the following examples: a short circuit and an open circuit .

All of the fault codes are listed in the following tables.
