Electronic Systems Interference

Usage:

45 1DR
Due to the potential for interference between the machine's electronic system and FM two-way radios, follow the following recommendations:

  • Do not install the cables for the radio and the antenna near the electronic modules or the wiring harnesses in the cab. The modules are located in the side console, in the front console, and beneath the floormat behind the seat.

  • Mount the radio on the left side of the cab. Make sure that the radio is not near the electronic systems.

  • Mount the radio antenna on top of the cab roof. Make sure that the antenna is properly grounded.

  • Check the coaxial cable in order to verify that the cable is in good condition.

  • Check the system in order to verify that the cable is the correct length for the system.

  • Unless the radio is connected to an antenna outside the cab, do not use hand-held radios inside the cab.
